Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about SSO Connector for JumpCloud
When a user successfully logs in via JumpCloud SSO for the first time and an account does not exist in WordPress, a new user is automatically created and assigned the fixed default role of 'subscriber' (assinante). (Reference code line 280: $user->set_role('subscriber');)
If the user already exists in WordPress (verified by the email received from JumpCloud), the plugin simply performs the login for that existing account. The user's existing WordPress role and profile are maintained, and no role alteration occurs during the SSO login process.
Log in to your JumpCloud Admin Portal, go to the SAML application settings, and copy the Entity ID value.
